The calculation of environment quality index is done by the following way :

For any environmental parameter like AAQ,SO2 etc. mean of the measured value taken from different location and at different time is converted to a cluster comprising of 13 groups(A-M).The conversion is done with the help of the standard max and min value of the parameter.The difference between the max and min is divided by 13 and each division is assigned a group.A is assigned to the first division nearest to max… Continue
