Just a quick reminder that the deadline for submitting abstracts for AGIS III is February 15 (about two weeks). Consider joining our Keynote speaker Abbas Firoozabadi and presenters from Alberta Sulphur Research, Virtual Materials Group, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Calgary, Xi’an Shiyou University, Beijing Science and Technology University, China Petroleum Engineering (CPE) – Southwest, and Gas Liquids Engineering.
Abstracts should be 500 words and may contain a table or a figure. They should be in a format readable by MSWord (.doc, .docx, .txt, .rtf, etc.). Please do not send a PDF. Please submit you abstract via E-mail to training@spheretechconnect.com. If the file is too big, please contact us for an alternate method to submit.
Topics include all aspects of gas injection (including carbon dioxide injection for enhanced oil recovery and for sequestration). This is a multidisciplinary Symposium covering surface and subsurface, including the fields of engineering (petroleum, process, mechanical), chemistry, geology, geochemistry, health and safety, etc.
Select papers from the previous two AGIS were published by Scrivener in association with John Wiley and Sons: http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-1118016645.html and http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0470938765.html Select papers from the Symposium in Banff will be published in the third volume in this series.
