Carbon Capture Journal

Carbon capture and storage - one of the most important engineering challenges

After consulting with our authors, and our keynote speaker in particular, a new date has been scheduled for the 3rd International Acid Gas Injection Symposium (AGIS III). The re-scheduled AGIS will take place May 30, May 31, and June 1, 2012.

The venue will be the Banff Park Lodge in the town of Banff, Alberta (http://www.banff.ca/) in the heart of Banff National Park (http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/ab/banff/index.aspx). Banff is Canada’s first national park and is renowned for its natural beauty and wildlife. The Town of Banff is about 130 km (80 miles) from downtown Calgary and about 400 km (250 miles) from Edmonton.

Many of the original papers, including the keynote presentation from Prof. Firoozabadi, have agreed to be part of the new AGIS. We sincerely appreciate the understanding of our authors. However, a Call for Papers will go out in the near future. We will need a few more papers to fill for those withdrawn. Please consider submitting an abstract.
