Our company is working on and currently testing wireless thru-earth communications
systems for remote and buried sensors and control equipment. To date we have
tested in an aquifer at KTB in Bavaria, Germany sending data to the surface
from a depth of 3950 mtrs at 30 kbps consistently over the test period, we are
now testing at 3K in Cornwall, UK in hot rocks granite well to 3km depth.
The original intention was for geoscientific seismic sensors, tsunami detection
communications but we are certain that this technology may be useful in the CC
industry.
We are nowworking on sub-surface point to multi-point networking for monitoring applications.
We have more info on our website where you can follow our developments and tests, click here to link to it now.
Any thoughts or comments on this technology in CC sinks would be much appreciated.
