Currently working for ConocoPhillips on corporate CCS strategy and practical implementation. Previously researched CCS with Howard Herzog of MIT: Thesis on "partial capture" available at http://sequestration.mit.edu/pdf/AshleighHildebrand_Thesis_May09.pdf.

How long before 25% of power stations worldwide have carbon capture?
16-20 years
Do you think CCS will always need to be subsidised by government?
No but there will need to be a high carbon price

Hi Ashleigh,
Really! 2500MW big, but the more interesting thing was the “coal fired” rather than hydrogen or atomic energy. The unit price of electricity is high after CCS but the company will get carbon credits and rest of all the things people get clean and green environment. What type of these plants will be? you are working and pre or posts capture technology?
