A symposium for acid gas injection was the brainchild of Sphere Technology Connection, a Calgary company specializing in transfer technology related to the petroleum industry throughout the world. AGIS will discuss all processes related to the injection of acid gases – AGI, CO2 EOR, rich gas injection EOR and CCS. Acid Gas Injection Symposium (AGIS 2011) at Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU)

October 20, 2011 to October 23, 2011
This is the third International Acid Gas Symposium (AGIS). This year it will be held in Sichuan province in China. AGIS covers all aspects of the injection of acid gas (mixtures of carbon dioxide and/or hydrogen sulfide) including carbon capture and storage (CCS) and the use of carbon dioxide for enhanced oil recovery (EOR). The Symposium program is set and registration is open.
