I have applied for it. I wish I will have the opportunity to attend. By mistake your name was in RECS2010 (Alumni) instead of RECS2009 in the website. I have informed them and they have changed it to RECS2009 :). I have seen a video in which you…

Sorry for the delay in replying. My area of reaserch is on carbon sequestration in saline aquifers and my focus is on the risk assessment of storage of carbon dioxide in slaine aquifers. Though my major is Natural Resource Economics and will be focussing on economic and environmental risks of carbon storage I am required to study about the chemical and physical nature of the carbon dioxide and their interactions with the aquifers to aid me in my research. I would e interested inlearning and sharing information to help us further our reaserch.
Thanks Prem...But I am RECS 2009 participant and an alumni of RECS 2010. First of all good luck to you for your acceptance into RECS 2010 program. RECS is usually a comprehensive program for 10 days that combines class room instructions on different topics related to CCS with field trips to geological storage site and a visit to a power plant. This is what we had last year and I think it would be the same this year too. Apart from this there was a trip to Santa Fe (a fun trip) on a Sunday. We actually had the opportunity to meet the faculty of the RECS who gave the talk and also had discussions after their talk. On the whole it was really very useful and fun. Once again I wish u gud luck.
For further clarifications or doubts regarding the RECS 2010 program please contact MS. Pamela Tomski, RECS, Founder & Director. She will be very helpful.
