PhD in chemical engineering from Technical University in Norway (NTNU)
Post doc at AIST, Japan 1993: ocean sequestration of CO2.
Worked in the energy and energy trading business from 1993 to 2005, including: Institute of Energy Technology, Norway
Japan Atomic Energy Agency - guest reseracher at Fugen/Monju fast breeder reactors
OMX, Canada - development/sales of energy trading and risk management software
NordPool Consulting - design and implementation of electricity markets in Ireland, Turkey, India and eastern Europe.
Now counsellor at the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo.
Interested in policy, politics, technology and business development related to CCS and in a CDM/Kyoto context.
