Hi Ron - not sure how much material I can let you have as we're involved in the BERR competition. But what do you think of the news on Tullow selling the Hewett gas field - THE main storage space we all thought would probably win the competition (in a consortium with Eon (Kingsnorth)) ? Tullow sold their interest to ENI who have publically announced a plan to use Hewett as a swing nat. gas storage facility. Meanwhile BERR should announce the first round of bid short-listing very soon - interesting times! Steve

Hi Stephen,

I am a final year undergraduate student at Imperial College in London studying Chemical Engineering. I am very interested in getting into geological storage of CO2. Currently, I am applying for PhD positions at numerous institutions for beginning next year.

However, I would very much like to get some experience of working on CCS in industry. I was wondering if you think BP might have anything to offer me?

Any help/advice would really be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Mark McBride
