Profile Information

What company are you currently employed by / studying with?
THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH
What is your job title or role?
CURRENT MSc IN CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE
What is your main geographic location?
EDINBURGH
Would you like to give some information about yourself - current projects, background, education, ambitions, what you are looking for (if anything) and so on?
At present i am a recent graduate BSc Geophysics (Hons) 2:1; participating with a full time MSc in Carbon Capture and storage with the university of Edinburgh. However, due to the fact that my undergrad was Geophysics i have been able to pursue several geophysics options including advanced exploration methods, seismic sequence stratigraphy (John Underhills course) and carbonate sequence stratigraphy. I am currently trying to optimise my opportunity for employment after the masters
What is the role of your company?
research, education
Would you like to let us know your age range?
under 26
How long before 25% of power stations worldwide have carbon capture?
6-10 years
Do you think CCS will always need to be subsidised by government?
No but there will need to be a high carbon price
