Job Description

Summer Graduate for Carbon Consulting

Newcastle based

  

 

We are seeking a Graduate Engineer who has recently complete 4th year University with a strong interest and passion for Climate Change Mitigation. We are developing a series of leading edge projects that reduce the energy and carbon intensity of our high profile clients from industry,
here in the Hunter Region. We require some support in the design,
delivery and development of business cases for projects that include:
energy efficiency, heat recovery, renewable energy, Greenhouse Gas
abatement and asset management.

You will have recently graduated from the Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Environmental) disciplines with sufficient, research, writing and
technical skill. A large component of the work will be supporting
Business Case Development so some understanding of financial terms and
conditions would be advantageous. (NPV, IRR, Payback Calculations).

Initially you will work for the team at WorleyParsons over the summer but there is potential that this position will move to full time employment in the
long term for an outstanding candidate.

Job Requirements
