CGGVeritas offers a unique range of services directly applicable to the challenges of the sequestration of CO2 in depleted oil and gas reservoir or saline aquifers. These services cover CO2 site reconnaissance, CO2 reservoir characterization and monitoring during and after injection.

CGGVeritas is a member of the CSLF-USA (Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum), the ZEP-Europe (Zero Emission Platform) and GCCSI-Australia (Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute) and participates in various CCS R&D initiatives around the world. CGGVeritas is also involved in projects for site reconnaissance and monitoring, including not only Norway Sleipner, Canada-Weyburn and Algeria-InSalah.

For the development of its CO2 storage services offer, CGGVeritas offers a 6 months internship in CGGVeritas-Houston. Candidate will work in the Houston R&D team.
